Steve Eglash leads research programs at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory in energy storage, the electric grid, and other fields in energy and sustainability.  The emphasis is on translating fundamental research into practical solutions.  SLAC is operated by Stanford University for the U.S. Department of Energy.
